Teacher of Record

Gaps in coverage shouldn’t pause instruction.

Fill hard-to-staff or low-enrollment courses with certified educators who keep learning on track.

Not every class fits your staffing plan. Subject’s Teacher of Record solution fills gaps with certified teachers who deliver instruction, grade work, and ensure compliance so you can expand offerings without adding headcount.
Count Day Ready

Subject’s Michigan-certified teachers deliver instruction that ensures your virtual students count.

  • Weekly two-way communication and learning labs with students
  • MDE-certified instructors in all core and elective subjects
  • Ongoing progress tracking and communication logs for audit readiness

Subject’s turnkey model meets all 21f eligibility requirements and helps your district maintain compliance with state virtual learning rules.

Funding worth Exploring

Michigan law offers multiple funding opportunities for online learning through sections 21f, 31a, Rural Access Grant (RAG), and 23g. To qualify for funding:

  • Courses must include two-way teacher interaction
  • Teachers must be Michigan-certified
  • Districts must monitor student progress

Subject makes this easy with a turnkey, compliant Teacher of Record model.

Just a list of students and courses. We handle teacher assignment, course setup, instruction, grading, and support. Most districts can launch within a few days.
